I cannot even begin to tell you how fortunate I was to have found Bear Valley Academy as a parent back in 2016. This gem-of-a-school has been a huge part of my family’s life, and I am so fortunate to lead this amazing team of teachers and staff!

 

Before taking time to stay home with my children, I taught in Wylie ISD. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood-4th Grade). There is nothing like seeing that “light bulb moment” when a child figures out a new concept – something to add to their “toolbox.” There is no greater joy! I am passionate about play and children learning through the experiences of touching, moving, listening, and observing – while having endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.

Early childhood education is an essential building block of a child's future success. I am eager to partner with you in building the foundation for lifelong learning, including cognitive and social development.

I have seen the impact preschool has had on my own children, and many other students who I have crossed paths with. My mission is for your child to enter our doors each day feeling welcomed, loved, affirmed, and to be continuously growing both academically and socially.
