CARE MINISTRY is:
OUR GOAL is to be present to assist the Holy Spirit as He brings comfort and healing to those going through life’s struggles. IF YOU ARE dealing with:

CARE Ministers are not professional counselors or pastors, but they are more than friends. CARE Ministers are individuals with giftings in compassion and mercy, and skilled in listening, encouraging, and supporting through prayer. They have undergone 24 hours of initial training, and attend monthly continuing education classes. In addition, CARE Ministers meet twice a month to support each other while maintaining confidentiality regarding those in their care. CARE Ministers do not do physical labor, run errands, or take you to the doctor, but they will:

THE PROCESS If you seek the help of a CARE Minister, you will first go through a screening process. You will meet with a CARE Ministry leader who will listen to your needs, determine that our ministry is appropriate for you (and assist you in finding one that is if you need something else), and prayerfully assign you to a CARE Minister. The leader who conducts your screen and your CARE Minister will be of the same gender as you are. The CARE Minister to whom you are assigned will call you to set up your first meeting, and from then on you will meet every one to two weeks for about an hour. You will meet with the same CARE Minister until such a time as you decide you have fulfilled your goals for meeting (this could be weeks, months, or years). All assignments are confidential: only the leader who makes the assignment and your CARE Minister will know who you are. | ![]() | |
